FA to offer new contract to keep Lee Carsley.
Lee Carsley will be handed a new contract to stay at England Under-21s after guiding them to the Euros final on Saturday. With the FA football hoping he will agree ok again.
The Daily Mail reports Carsley has held talks about his future with John McDermott. FA technical director during the tournament in Georgia. And a new contract will be formally offered by chief executive Mark Ballingham later this month.
Carsley currently has 12 months left on his contract and the FA want to hold him longer. Especially after his outstanding performance. As he led the U21s to the final of a major tournament for the first time in 14 years.

I am very fortunate [to manage this team] credit to the players. They are highly committed. They play with pride when they have the ball. When they block and when clearing the ball.
